Nikos Mouat - SVP Engineering
Since late 2001, Mr. Mouat has served as Ygnition's VP of Engineering overseeing the Company’s technology resources. Mr. Mouat's background is in Internet engineering, software development, security and customer service.
Prior to joining Ygnition, Mr. Mouat was engaged as CTO of Crossport Systems, a broadband firewall and services company which was eventually acquired by Motorola.
Mr. Mouat's career includes tenures at Darwin Networks, Conjungi Networks, InterConnected Associates (IXA) and his own consulting company.
In addition, Mr. Mouat co-founded and remains President and a Board member to the Seattle Internet Exchange (SIX), one of the top Internet Exchange Points in the United States. Nikos Mouat was named to the 2000 "Top 40 under 40" list published by the Seattle Business Journal. He studied computer science and engineering at the University of Waterloo in southern Ontario, Canada.
