High Speed Internet
High-speed Internet is much faster than traditional dial-up Internet and unlike dial-up the connection is always on. Depending upon your community, Ygnition offers high-speed Internet via DSL, Cable Modem and Ethernet technologies.
Ygnition delivers the High Speed Internet service to your community by bringing in a shared T1 or DS-3 line. These are direct connections to the backbone of the Internet, which allows all of the users at a community access to the Internet.. The advantage of this system is that the Internet bandwidth is only available to the residents of your community. Internet speeds are not affected by people in the surrounding areas.
Depending upon your property, you may need a DSL or Cable Modem. DSL Modems are provided free of charge. Cable modems are provided for a small monthly rental fee of $2.95. All we ask is that you return the equipment to us if you terminate service. Alternatively, you may purchase a modem from us ($59.95) or from any electronics retailer. Any cable modem that is compliant with the DOCSIS 1.0 or higher specification will work with our service. If you purchase a modem from someone other than Ygnition, we will need the modem's MAC address in order to provision your service. Please contact our customer support representatives at 866-876-3278 or via Live Chat for instructions on how to find your modem's MAC address.
